In this sermon, we dive into 1 John 1:1-4, part of our series on 1 John. John, an eyewitness, declares the eternal Word of Life—Jesus Christ—whom he saw, heard, and touched, countering false claims that Christ didn’t come in the flesh. From the beginning (John 17:5, 24), Jesus brings eternal life (1 John 5:11-13) and fellowship with the Father, Son, and believers (1 John 2:24). This abiding in His Word (1 John 3:23) fills us with lasting joy (Romans 15:13), not fleeting happiness. Gnosticism’s lies crumble against John’s testimony.
