Genesis Creation - 1:1-19

We begin our Genesis study, covering the Bible’s big picture. Genesis spans 2,400 years, focusing on creation (1-11) and Abraham’s family (12-50), God’s redemption story. In Genesis 1, God creates time, space, matter, and energy, speaking light into existence (Psalm 33:6). The six-day creation, culminating in life on day three, reflects His purpose (Colossians 1:16).
